Vitamin C is an essential vitamin for body: essential for processes such as collagen biosynthesis, catecholamine metabolism, and iron absorption from foods.

As a result, Vitamin C is involved in many biological processes in our body and it has been shown that it:

• Contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal functioning of the blood vessels, bones and cartilage
• Contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal functioning of the teeth and gums
• Contributes to normal collagen formation for normal skin function
• Contributes to a normal energy-yielding metabolism
• Increases iron absorption
• Contributes to the maintenance of normal immune system function during and after strenuous exercise
• Contributes to the normal function of the immune and nervous systems
• Contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative damage
• Contributes to a normal psychological function
• Contributes to the regeneration of the reduced form of Vitamin E.
• Contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue

While Vitamin C is an essential one, humans cannot synthetize it. Fortunately, it can be obtained through dietary intake of fruits and vegetables. However, for those who want to supplement that and make sure enough Vitamin C is taken daily, we recommend using our Vitamin C Liposomal quality product.
