AGLS Collagen contains a unique blend of three patented collagen peptides supporting collagen production, bone strength, joint health and integrity, skin elasticity and more.

Collagen is a special type of protein that accounts for as much as 30% of the body’s total protein. In particular, it’s a primary structural component of connective tissue. The amino acid composition of dietary collagens are very similar to those in human collagens, making dietary collagen peptides ideal for supporting normal body collagen turnover and renewal.

Many individuals—the elderly in particular—do not consume adequate protein. Even among those with a higher protein intake, the richest sources of collagen—animal skins, bone broth, and tendons — are not typically part of the modern Western diet. AGLS Collagen can be incorporated into shakes, smoothies, and other foods and beverages, making it a convenient way to ensure adequate intake of collagen’s unique amino acids.

Bone is a mixture of mineral crystals held in an organic collagen matrix. On their own, the crystals would be extremely brittle and prone to break. Collagen in the bones is essential for bone flexibility and elasticity.

Osteoporosis is a condition characterized by low bone mass and microarchitectural deterioration of bone tissue, which leads to enhanced bone fragility and a consequent increase in fracture risk.

Osteopenia, the early stage of osteoporosis, can begin as early as 35 years old, when bone mass progressively declines. The likelihood of fractures increases with age. The risk of bone fractures doubles every ten years for both men and women.

AGLS Collagen contains 3 types of patented collagen peptides that have undergone clinical trials:

• FORTIGEL® – effectively supports cartilage tissue.

• FORTIBONE® – stimulates bone cells.
Over the course of 12 months, 180 women with reduced bone mass participated in therapy with a daily intake of 5g of FORTIBONE® or a placebo. Changes in bone mineral density were measured in the spine and the femoral neck of the participants. The results showed a significant increase in bone mineral density after taking FORTIBONE® supplements in women suffering from osteopenia or osteoporosis.

• VERISOL® – stimulates fibroblast cells in the dermal layer of the skin, increasing their collagen production. It not only improves the condition of hair, skin, and nails but also reduces wrinkle depth after 12 weeks of taking VERISOL®.
